PETG

Everyone knows the PET bottle from soft drinks. PETG is the filament version of this material. Compared to other 3D filament types, PETG has only been on the market for a short time, but has already become very popular. PETG combines many of the properties of PLA and ABS. In its neutral state, PETG filament is transparent, which makes it suitable for producing transparent colours. Despite its printing temperature of 245 degrees, PETG shrinks much less than ABS, which makes it almost as easy to use as PLA. Other important properties include very good layer adhesion and the material not breaking, but bending when pressure is applied.
